So what does cycling team do after a fresh 4-5 inches of snow......grab the ski's of course. With Baumann getting a 3 hour ride in out west in 'Zona....role call was Ihde, Hauser, Borst, Steele, Huffer, and Shoemaker (of whom I stole this photo from!).After lap one it was clear that the groomer slept in, thought for sure after a fresh snowfall the trails would be nicely groomed.....nope. As we finished the lap, look who is following us on the trails.....yep....the groomer.
So with a fresh set of tracks staring at us, we had to hit the short loop quick just to get some skiing in on frsh set after skiing four inch deep tracks......ahhhh, fresh tracks rock! A good day on the ski's, good workout!
Keep the date March 4th open, team meeting at the Harmony cafe, 645pm.....meeting at 7.
